Example: Your monthly power bill is $350.00 USD and you own and activate the Full PowerPay NFT. Begin by making a payment of $250 USD with GREEN Tokens through PowerPay. Next, PowerPay will make a payment of $250 USD to your Power Provider. Upon successful payment to your power provider you'll receive your Full PowerPay NFT discount credited with $250 USD of GREEN Tokens. You are responsible to pay the remaining power bill balance of $100 USD (i.e. debit card, credit card, cash or check).

Example: Your monthly power bill is $350.00 USD and you own and activate the 50% PowerPay NFT. Begin by making a payment of $125 USD with GREEN Tokens through PowerPay. Next, PowerPay will make a payment of $125 USD to your Power Provider. Upon successful payment to your power provider you'll receive your 50% PowerPay NFT discount credited with $125 USD of GREEN Tokens. You are responsible to pay the remaining power bill balance of $225 USD (i.e. debit card, credit card, cash or check).

Anyone wishing to use PowerPay must own and active a PowerPay NFT. The steps for deploying a Green PowerPay NFT is as follows:

Step 1, hold the PowerPay NFT in Green Account Wallet.

Step 2, activate Green PowerPay NFT.

Step 3, connect PowerPay compatible Power Provider.

Step 4, at the beginning of the month user will receive a notification from PowerPay requesting a Power Bill payment using GREEN (up to $250 USD).

Step 5, PowerPay will submit a payment to your power provider.

Step 6, upon successful payment to your power provider you'll receive your Full PowerPay NFT discount credited with GREEN Tokens.

Important: You are responsible to pay any remaining power bill balance not covered by your PowerPay payment (i.e. debit card, credit card, cash, check).

If your Power Provider is not listed in the search, contact support and they'll research your power provider for participation => submit your support ticket

When searching Power Providers above and the search result generates "PowerPay Status: InActive - Available for Beta Testing" this means that we are accepting individuals who are using this Power Provider and would like to participate in the Beta Phase of the PowerPay Program. Learn more about the Beta Phase of the PowerPay program in the FAQ section below.

The Beta Phase for the PowerPay program would be a testing stage where it’s rolled out to a limited group to find bugs, gather feedback, and ensure it works well before a full launch. During this phase, users would pay their power bill (up to $250 USD) with GREEN Tokens and unlock incredible discounts through our exclusive PowerPay NFTs. Choose from four tiers—10%, 25%, 50%, or even 100% off your bill! The beta would help the PowerPay team identify issues—like incorrect discount calculations or payment glitches—while seeing how real users interact with the program. Feedback would be used to fix problems, improve usability, and ensure the program supports its goal of saving money and promoting a greener future, before a full public release.
